If Voting Doesn’t Protect Lives Why Vote
This article is about why voting is just a scam to the American people. People are only allowed to vote for a person that claims they will make things better for the people, which has never happened. The most important things that people need to vote on, they aren’t allowed to vote on, like certain laws that allow your rights to be violated. If this is the case, then the American people have no right to protect themselves from the very same government that swore to protect them.
Up until a couple of years ago, the people never heard of qualified immunity, although it was invented by the Supreme Court in the 1960s. In recent years, police officers have been getting away with killing unarmed people, and not one officer was committed a crime, although there is video evidence proving these officers committed murder.
If you ask the average person in America what are they voting for, they’ll probably say they’re voting for justice, better jobs, better health care, and equality. None of these things will ever happen because the rich don’t care about poor people’s problems. History shows where the Romans started elections and only the rich votes mattered because their votes were more important than poor people. This sounds similar to the Electoral College, in which they tell you every election that the winner is the first one who gets 270 electoral votes. People should have a say so on the laws that are being passed in America, instead of being forced to comply with things they do not agree with that violates their rights as a human being. How is it that someone can give someone the right to kill a person because of suspicion? Every time an unarmed person gets killed, it’s the same old story. It’s either he went for a gun or I feared for my life. If people gave that same reason why they shot a cop, the statement wouldn’t even be a factor in court.
People have been beaten, threatened, and killed because they just wanted equal rights and to be able to vote. At one point and time, it was illegal for people to read and write. They are a lot of people that want to see the electoral college abolished, along with qualified immunity. One gives you the illusion that your vote matters and the other grants the police the right to kill a person if they feel threatened. So, if voting solves problems for the people, why can't they vote to abolish the electoral college and qualified immunity.
