For years America has denied racism and its’ effects. Most people do not actually understand racism and what’s considered as a racist. Racism deals with prejudice, discrimination, superiority and antagonism. So, I asked some people how they’ve been affected by racism and what’s their take on it.
I asked Justin, a frequent researcher of history and injustice against black people, did he believes if there is a such thing as justice in America? He stated that he doesn't believe there is because throughout history blacks have been beaten and killed for no reason and no one has suffered the consequences for it. In which I have read stories about how white mobs burned down black towns and killed hundreds of blacks just because whites were jealous of how the black towns look better. Black Wall Street in Tulsa Oklahoma is a prime example of that.
America has brainwashed society into thinking blacks are barbaric rapist and killers. They have painted a bad picture of black society and yet they are the ones that are the rapist and killers. Have you ever read of Africa going to war with all the other countries on a quest for dominance and control? Jackie, the next person that I talked to about racism, said that she lives with caution because of how police officers are getting away with murdering black people in America. She also stated that racism has affected her life in many ways. But, she fears for the lives of her kids more than any of them. She also quoted "As long as America denies their wrong-doing to people of color and what they have done was right, racism will never end in America".
After taking to Justin a while about racism, he quoted "Racism will never change in America because it was built on racism". This is a reality that most blacks face in America and it's a struggle to get others to see the injustice that has been done to blacks in America. No one is going to save us from this situation but us.
