Southern Hardhead Ent.

Southern Hardhead is a t-shirt brand is started and copyrighted in 2005, but never had the time to promote it when I started it. At the time I was in my fourth year of running my own barber shop called Nu-Image. In 2013 I was in a vehicle accident that cause me to have a 360 spinal fusion surgery in 2014, which caused me not to be able to stand and cut hair, so I attended Fullsail University. I got my Graduate certificate in Media Communications December 18th of 2015. From there I stared on my next journey, my passion for music. I re-entered Fullsail to get my bachelors in Audio Production, in which I obtained my bachelors August 9th of 2019. This is where I have learned about branding, copyrights and trademarks along with numerous of other things. Since then I have been dealing with several artist and making decisions on who’s the perfect fit for my label image. I have my own personal website that’s under construction called Southern Hardhead Ent. On there I will be hosting my ReGram podcast, my music, tracks for sale and taking orders for custom made t-shirts and Southern Hardhead apparel. So far, I have three artist that are on my team, Quan, Chris and Edwan. Chris and Quan are my R&B artist and Edwan is my Hip-Hop artist. Urban music has taken a turn for the worse because of the control the record companies have over the artist. They determine what they want an artist to talk about and what kind of image they want an artist to portray. There is an article I ran across called The Meeting That Destroyed Hip-Hop and it’s not a farfetched story as some want to call a conspiracy. People get life in jail for conspiracy, so this lets’ me know that the word is used as a tool for cover ups and convictions. So I’m going to use my label to change the image of urban music and restore it to it’s original purpose.
